The first batch comes from a universe where anthropomorphic objects exhibit human-like features, such as participating in a civilization. The batches of contestants themselves come from different universes. The show follows 18 contestants, teleported in batches of six into The Plane by Airy who compete in his ill-planned, simplistic competition show where the winner receives a wish for whatever they want. ONE recieved near unanimous acclaim throughout its run from 2020 to 2022 by those in the OSC and has sometimes been described as one of the greatest object shows of all time, having received notable praise for its writing, the story's blend of drama and horror, animation, humor, and characters, though has also received some minor criticism over the handling of the show's ending. It is the second object show created by Cheesy Hfj, the first being the joke show Battle for Circle. A teaser for the show was released on January 12, 2020, titled simply " Teaser Trailer".

ONE is an American animated web series created by Cheesy Hfj and starring That Person, Diamondcup67, John Dubuc, Ame, TopHatTheHat, Fluffy Bristle, McOddzen, Fish, JenningsAsYetUntitled, Hickstar, and Papiomike as its main cast, with Cheesy Hfj producing, animating, sounding, and writing most of the show (the latter of which was also half-done by ThatPerson, who wrote for Season Two, but did not write for Season One).
